Pricing questions, answered.
What is monitored, how often, and what happens when you cancel — with nothing left to read between the lines.
What exactly does StorePulse monitor?
The public storefront of any Shopify store you add: every product and variant, prices and compare-at prices, discounts and promotions, sold-out and restock status, collection membership and merchandising order, pages and blog posts, and SEO titles, descriptions, and canonicals. Each scan is also captured as a full-page preview so you can see the storefront as shoppers saw it.
How often is each store scanned?
Solopreneur scans every watched store every 3 days. Entrepreneur and Team scan daily, and can pin 10 and 50 priority products respectively for hourly price and stock checks. Every plan can also trigger an on-demand scan from the dashboard.
Is monitoring a competitor's store legal and ethical?
StorePulse only reads pages any shopper can open in a browser. The crawler identifies itself with a stable user agent and contact address, honors robots.txt, uses bounded concurrency and backoff, and never signs in, adds to cart, checks out, or bypasses any protection. Each store is scanned once and the result is shared across every workspace watching it, so merchants see less traffic than one person refreshing tabs. The full policy is published at /acceptable-crawling.
Do I need access to my competitor's Shopify account?
No. Paste the store URL and StorePulse discovers the public catalog, collections, and content from there. There is nothing to install on any store, no Shopify app to approve, and no API key to share.
Do you support stores that are not on Shopify?
Not today. StorePulse is built around the structure every Shopify storefront shares, which is what lets it detect a price change or a new variant reliably instead of guessing from raw HTML. Watching a store that is not on Shopify is refused at the point you add it.
What are mobile previews?
Every scan captures a full-page screenshot of the storefront at a desktop viewport. On Entrepreneur and Team, a second capture is taken at a phone viewport, so you can compare how a competitor merchandises the same page on mobile and see design and promotion changes that only appear there.
What is the Claude and ChatGPT connector?
Team workspaces can connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client to their data over StorePulse's MCP endpoint. Sign in once through OAuth, then ask in plain language: which competitors dropped prices this week, what changed on a store in the last three days, or add a new competitor. Everything the connector can read is scoped to your workspace and can be revoked from Settings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancelling stops the next charge and keeps your plan until the end of the period you already paid for; the workspace then returns to the entry limits rather than losing access. Paying yearly saves 20% against twelve monthly payments.
